Improving Our Relationships

Rebecca Ishida provides expert couples and marriage counseling in Beverly Hills. Improve communication, rebuild trust after infidelity and enhance intimacy.

Couples Counseling in Beverly Hills

The majority of my practice focuses on couples counseling and marriage counseling in Beverly Hills and via telehealth. Whether you’re seeking to improve your marriage or interested in premarital counseling to build a strong foundation for your future, I’m here to support you.

Feeling Stuck in Your Relationship?

Are you and your partner experiencing challenges that seem insurmountable? Do communication problems, intimacy issues, or unresolved conflicts strain your connection? Working with couples who are open and willing to address their relationship conflicts is one of the most rewarding parts of my practice. I have extensive experience with all types of couples, including:

  • Married and Unmarried Couples
  • Biracial and Bicultural Relationships
  • LGBTQIA+ Couples
  • Non-Traditional Relationships (such as polyamory, ethnically non-monogamous and long-term partnerships without marriage)

Navigating the Journey of Relationships

Relationships are a journey and life transitions can sometimes cause them to suffer. Empathy, compassion and communication can be restored in your relationship. Sometimes, it takes an outside party to help bring you together, improve communication and renew that bond.

A Safe and Supportive Environment

I provide a safe, honest and open environment to work through your conflicts. As an objective party, I can act as a translator for what is happening in your relationship. Recognizing that relationships can bring up unresolved issues from childhood, I explore family histories and communication styles to help you find ways to interact in a healthy and empathetic manner.

Often, we find that partners have different ways of resolving conflict. I can help you communicate more effectively and with greater empathy.

Specializing in Infidelity Counseling and Improving Intimacy

Unresolved issues like infidelity can deeply impact trust and intimacy. I offer specialized counseling to help couples navigate the complex emotions involved and work towards rebuilding trust after betrayal.

Improving Intimacy in Relationships

Emotional and sexual intimacy are vital components of a healthy relationship. If you and your partner are struggling in this area, I can help you reconnect and strengthen your bond.
